With the pool opening on May 12th, we have some exciting things to look forward to this year. In addition to the SunShade that was installed end of last year over the kiddie pool, we now have SunShade over the large area next to the kiddie pool.

Since we installed the video cameras, we have seen a decrease in non-residents at the pool area. We also had zero pool closings last summer for the first time. Although the video cameras give us a sense of security at the pool, we still need all residents to be aware and notify Crime Watch of any concerns they might have. The cameras face the pool area and basketball court.

As the pool season approaches, here is a reminder of a few rules that are more commonly broken more than others. The full list of rules is on www.RobinsonRidge.com and on signs in the pool area.

1. Lifesavers (ring buoys) are not to be used as toys. These devices are meant for saving lives. (Rule # 7: Homeowners are responsible for any damages caused by themselves, their children or guests.)
Many people ask why their children cannot play with these. It is because the continued use of them in and out of the water cracks the lifesaver. The homeowners have to pay between $40 - $60 to replace these U.S. Coast Guard approved buoys. Please politely ask anyone using these buoys as toys to hang them back up. Pick up some inexpensive floaties for your children to use while at the pool.

2. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times (18 or older).

3. Must have active resident pool card for entry.
Please do not open the gate for anyone that is not a part of your own household. The person or persons may not have an active card due to delinquent HOA dues or is not a resident of Robinson Ridge.

Be safe and have a great summer enjoying the pool!
