From the town of Little Elm:

The upcoming May 9th Local Election will include four items: elections for Mayor and two Council positions, renewal of the 1/4 sales tax for street maintenance, three propositions for Capital Improvement Bonds, and 11 Town Charter amendments.

Detailed information will be included in your April water bill insert. There will be two Community Forums scheduled at Town Hall on Wednesday, April 15th and Monday April 20th . Both will start at 7pm and are open to the entire community.

In addition, the Little Elm Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a ‘Coffee with the Candidates’ at the Little Elm Community Center on Thursday April 23rd. Town staff is more than willing to meet with any citizen group or homeowners association who would like to hear a presentation on the Capital Improvement Bonds.
